Rotary Lusaka Opens Maternity Wing at Chansu Health Post, Chongwe

,
As we wrap up the Rotary year, on Friday 26th June 2026, the the Rotary Club of Lusaka proudly visited Chansu for the official handover of the newly rehabilitated Chansu Health Post Maternity Wing, along with improved Water and Sanitation (WASH) facilities.
This project was made possible through the dedication and passion of our members, as well as the generous support of friends of Rotary. Together, we continue to demonstrate that service above self creates lasting change.
During the visit, we reviewed the completed rehabilitation works, engaged with members of the local community and shared meaningful fellowship, making the occasion both memorable and rewarding.
The Chansu Health Post serves more than 2,500 people, and these improvements will contribute to better maternal healthcare, improved sanitation, and enhanced well-being for the entire community.
Projects like these are the reason we exist. They reflect our commitment to creating sustainable, positive impact where it matters most.
Join us as we continue serving our communities and making a lasting difference—because together, we create hope and transform lives.
