Donation of 24 Laptops to Schools in Nkeyema District in Western Province
The Rotary Club of Lusaka drove 363 kms to Nkeyema District in Western Province to donate 24 laptops to rural schools. The event was witnessed by President of the Rotary Club of Lusaka Pamela C Pio and the Western Province, Provincial Minister and Member of Parliament for Nkeyema Hon. Akapelwa Mbangweta.
The Rotary Club of Lusaka has been implementing the Laptop for Schools Project for the past three years and at total of 300 laptops and 10 printers have been donated to various rural schools and in over 5 districts.
Special recognition goes to our partners East Hill Chapel Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Louvain La Neuve in Belgium, Rotary Club of Gore Bay in Canada and Irish Aid.
