INSTALLATION OF PRESIDENT ELECT CYNTHIA MWILA
A colorful even is what can be described of the installation of President Cynthia Mwila of rotary club of Lusaka for the year 2022-2023. President Cynthia was installed as president of rotary club of Lusaka on 17 June 2022. The event was graced by the Honorable Minister of Tourism Mr. Rodney Sikumba MP.
President Cynthia takes over from IPP Kafula who without doubt led the club well and during his tenure he led a huge membership drive.
In her speech, President Cynthia pledged to serve diligently. She added that her journey in rotary had been transformational and with that, tying in with the theme for the year ‘imagine rotary’, she would like for Rotary Lusaka to work towards transforming lives even if it meant transforming one life at a time as that makes a difference.
IPP Kafula in handling over, told Cynthia that she had been elected by the club to guide its affairs and entrusted with an important responsibility that would shape the club’s future.
After her induction, President Cynthia introduced her incoming board with whom she will execute her mandate with.
